Vacation is a time for creating memories, laughter, and discovery and this year, KEEP Liberia is turning ordinary vacation days into something extraordinary. We are thrilled to announce our FIRST-EVER Vacation & Extra Academic Activities Program for students in grades 4–12 (ages 10–19), running for six energetic weeks from July 15 to August 26, 2026. If you’re looking for a meaningful, safe, and fun way for your child to spend the break, read on, this could be the best vacation decision you make.
KEEP’s Vacation Enrichment Program blends learning with play. Over six weeks, participants will move through hands-on sessions that are practical, playful, and designed to build real skills they’ll use in school and beyond. We’ll create a warm, structured space at the YWCA in Congo Town where children can explore technology, science, art, storytelling, and performance, all supported by experienced facilitators who love working with young people. What students will learn
• Computer Fundamentals: Practical digital skills for schoolwork and everyday life, how to navigate basic programs, online safety, and helpful tools to support learning.
• STEM Education: Hands-on experiments and problem-solving challenges that spark curiosity and develop logical thinking.
• Arts & Crafts: Projects that develop fine-motor skills, imagination, and self-expression through painting, collage, and maker activities.
• Content Creation: Storytelling basics using photos and videos, plus simple editing to help children tell their own stories.
• Performance Arts: Drama, music, and public speaking exercises that build confidence, presence, and teamwork.

What a typical week looks like
Each week will blend structured lessons with time for exploration and play. Expect a balanced day with short, engaging sessions so kids stay energized:

• Midday: Arts & crafts sessions and creative breaks (snacks provided)
• Afternoon: Content creation workshops, drama/music rehearsals, and small group presentations.
We’ll finish some days with a short showcase where students share what they made, an encouraging, low-pressure way to celebrate progress.
