The Emerging Leaders Mentorship Fellowship, a flagship initiative of KEEP Liberia, has reached another exciting milestone as 11 fellows begin one-month internships with leading institutions across Liberia. This important phase of the fellowship is designed to bridge the gap between learning and practice by giving fellows meaningful workplace experiences that align with their career aspirations and long-term professional goals.
Hosted by Petra Resources Inc., John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Farm Alert, Tiens Paradise, Mwetana, Curated Cultural Gift Store, YOCEL, Jahmale Medical Solutions and the Kids’ Educational Engagement Project (KEEP), the internships provide fellows with an opportunity to apply the knowledge and leadership skills they have developed throughout the fellowship in real-world professional settings. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, they are gaining practical experience, building confidence, and learning the value of collaboration, responsibility, and service.
These placements reflect KEEP Liberia’s commitment to preparing young people for successful careers while developing leaders who are equipped to make meaningful contributions to their communities. Through exposure to different sectors, fellows are strengthening their professional skills, expanding their networks, and gaining valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges within their chosen fields.
The Emerging Leaders Mentorship Fellowship is rooted in KEEP Liberia’s mission to expand literacy, promote digital learning, and empower youth leadership.
