Celebrating Six Weeks of Learning, Creativity, and Growth

After six weeks of learning, creativity, discovery, and personal development, KEEP Liberia proudly celebrates the successful climax of the 2026 Vacation Enrichment Program.

Held at KEEP Liberia headquarter in Duport Road, the program provided young people ages 10–19 with a safe and engaging space to learn new skills, express themselves, build confidence, and make meaningful connections during their vacation.

From STEM and Computer Fundamentals to Content Creation, and Arts & Crafts, participants were exposed to practical lessons designed to complement classroom education while preparing them for a rapidly changing digital world.

At KEEP Liberia, we believe that literacy is more than the ability to read and write, it is the ability to understand, communicate, create, think critically, and participate meaningfully in society.

This belief was reflected throughout the Vacation Enrichment Program.

Alongside traditional learning, participants explored digital literacy and technology, learning how to use digital tools creatively and responsibly. Through computer fundamentals, smartphone photography, graphic design, and content creation, our young learners gained practical skills that can support their education, future careers, and everyday lives.

These experiences reinforce KEEP Liberia’s commitment to promoting literacy while ensuring that young people are not left behind in an increasingly digital world.

One of the highlights of the program was watching participants move from simply consuming information to creating, communicating, collaborating, and expressing their own ideas.

Through hands-on activities, they learned the foundations of smartphone photography, explored lighting and camera angles, practiced design principles, and were introduced to tools such as Canva.

These skills gave participants the opportunity to discover that their smartphones and digital tools can be more than sources of entertainment, they can also be tools for learning, creativity, storytelling, and opportunity.

To every young person who participated in the six-week journey: we are proud of you! Thank you for showing up, asking questions, participating in activities, trying new things, and embracing every opportunity to learn.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the parents and guardians who trusted KEEP Liberia with their children and supported their participation throughout the program. Your support helped create an environment where children and young people could learn, create, connect, and grow.

Looking Ahead

The conclusion of the Vacation Enrichment Program is not the end of learning. It is another step in KEEP Liberia’s continued commitment to promoting literacy, expanding access to learning opportunities, and equipping young people with the digital and life skills they need to thrive.

Until the next vacation adventure, KEEP Liberia says:

Keep learning. Keep creating. Keep growing.
