Every child deserves a safe place to read, learn, imagine, and discover the possibilities that education can create. Yet for many children across Liberia, access to books, age-appropriate reading materials, and conducive learning environments remains a challenge.
The Kids Educational Engagement Project (KEEP Liberia) is inviting individuals, businesses, institutions, development partners, friends of Liberia, and communities to join an important literacy fundraising campaign to establish two new Reading Rooms (Mini Libraries) in Sinoe County, one at Juarzon Central High School and the other at Sinoe Demonstration School.

For more than a decade, KEEP Liberia has worked to promote literacy and expand children’s access to educational resources. With the generous support of partners, donors, volunteers, and friends of the organization, 49 Reading Rooms have been established across 14 counties in Liberia.

Today, Sinoe County is the only county remaining to complete this circle.
This campaign is therefore more than a fundraising effort. It is an opportunity to bring the transformative power of books and learning spaces to children in Sinoe County and to build on a literacy movement that has already reached communities across Liberia.
The proposed Reading Rooms at Juarzon Central High School and Sinoe Demonstration School will provide children and young people with safe, inspiring, and conducive spaces where they can develop a love for reading and strengthen essential learning skills.

The spaces will support children to improve their reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, critical thinking, creativity, and confidence, while giving them opportunities to explore subjects and ideas beyond the traditional classroom.
To establish and equip the two Reading Rooms and cover the necessary logistics, KEEP Liberia is seeking to raise US$22,000.
We welcome support in cash, books, furniture, educational materials, supplies, services, and other in-kind contributions that can help bring these two mini libraries to life.
Whether you contribute US$10, US$50, US$100, US$500, or more, every contribution moves us closer to our goal. No contribution is too small when we are building a future together.

At KEEP Liberia, we believe that literacy is a foundation for lifelong learning, personal development, and national progress. Through its Promoting Literacy pillar, the organization works to make reading resources more accessible to children while creating opportunities that encourage them to become confident and enthusiastic learners.
KEEP’s Reading Rooms have become important community learning spaces where children can access books and participate in activities that nurture their intellectual and personal growth. The organization’s literacy efforts are also complemented by initiatives such as Saturday Reading Sessions, which engage children through interactive reading activities designed to strengthen fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and critical thinking.
By supporting the Sinoe County Reading Rooms, you are helping extend this opportunity to another generation of Liberian children.
Together, let us complete the circle. Let us give children in Sinoe County greater access to books. Support the Sinoe County Reading Rooms Fundraiser Today.
